Build your empire is a massively multiplayer online browser based game that is free for anyone to play. It requires no software downloads to play. You compete against thousands of other players simultaneously to grow your empire to be the largest of all.

After a relatively lengthy hiatus Build Your Empire is back in action. New updates have been installed and are ready for you to play with.

An important new addition is referral points. Referral points allow you to buy some extra in game features such as changing your city names, changing your empire colors and adding extra queue slots to your cities.

Referral points are easy to attain, all you have to do is tell your friends and get them to sign up. More details can be found here

There has been a pretty significant bug causing some issues. People were seeing cities and buildings jumping up by up to 10 levels on a single upgrade! This has been fixed and hopefully we have seen the last of it.

Sincere apologies to any of you who lost some levels on your buildings, but unfortunately, what has been done cannot be undone.

There have been a couple of minor bug fixes intall to help keep things rolling smoothly. Remember that if you encounter a bug you should report it in the forums!

In other news a new donate button has been put up. By clicking it you can make a donation of your choice to the development of this game. All donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated and will improve the development of this game!

Also, you can vote for Build Your Empire at world online games to help spread the word!

An update has been installed. Now you can establish trade routes between your cities. The trade routes will show up as roads on the map and should provide you with a little extra income if you handle them right!

There is now a "trade" tab when you're viewing your city. Click it and give roads a go! You can only build roads between your own cities at the moment but options to build roads with allies will be added in the near future.

And the rankings have been updated. The new rankings show the top 10 and then you're position. Now you have something to aspire to!

If you stumble on any problems post them in the forum and they'll be fixed post-haste.
